Its gently rounded interior is exposed: a shallow, curved space carved from natural green onyx, available to hold whatever the surface calls for ,dried botanicals, smooth pebbles, a single stem, a few meaningful objects, or simply air and light.

Open Bowl — The Simplest Form
A bowl is one of the oldest human forms. Before the lidded vessel, before the jar, before the pot , there was the bowl. The Vale returns to that origin in a material that has been valued for thousands of years: natural stone, carved by hand, shaped into a form so resolved that nothing about it needs to change.
The gently rounded interior of the Vale is designed to catch the eye and hold it. On a coffee table, the pedestal lifts the Vale's rim to a height where the bowl's interior is visible to someone seated , the stone's veining and the hollow of the bowl are both part of the visual experience, not just the exterior silhouette.
